An ominous phrase
Heard this morning on NPR: "family-based childcare". Leave it to some deranged lefty bureaucrats to coin such an inhuman phrase. Though perhaps as family-based childcare providers (formerly known as "parents", a word that chills the blood of progressives) Lisa and I might qualify for some lefty grant money! We're engaged in an experiment in multi-generational high-density family-based childcare. Heh.
Comments
Funny, when my wife has taken our kids (and perhaps a few of their friends) to the local pool, at first some of the admission staff asked if she represented a day camp. Perhaps we could get some federal funds?
